After years of rumours federal communications minister Mitch Fifield has turned the power off to Channel 31 Community station.
The place where Rove, Hamish and Andy and Waleed Aly all got there starts in television will cease operating as a free to air station after June 30, it will still be available online in some form for those community tv tragic out there.
